History of Sontronics
Since Sontronics' debut at the 2005 NAMM Show, the line has grown to include a
wide range of versatile microphones suitable for both live and studio applications.
Sontronics' goal is to provide high-quality, professional audio products at an

Sontronics began as the inspiration of Founder and Managing Director, Trevor Coley. Coley teamed with Omnisonic International Limited, and after an extensive period of research and development, the first Sontronics microphones were assembled by highly skilled technicians in Shanghai. Coley worked closely with these engineers and his family of distribution partners to create a line of products that deliver exceptional quality at a great value.
All of Sontronics microphones are tested under laboratory conditions and their finely tuned performance characteristics are carefully measured and controlled. Once they arrive at Sontronics' UK warehouse, the microphones are tested a second time by in-house quality technicians, so you can be certain that every product has passed rigorous scrutiny before it reaches your door.
