HYPER & OMNI Hypercardioid and Omnidirectional Capsules for STC-1
To further enhance the versatility of the STC-1, Sontronics has developed the HYPER and OMNI capsules. These capsules give the STC-1 increased flexibility for detailed applications requiring specific pickup response.

HYPER and OMNI capsules can be used with the STC-1S matched pair, however once fitted with these capsules, they are no longer classed as "matched". They are easily interchangeable using a simple screw mechanism. Each capsule is packaged in its own ring box.

ST-POP Vocal Pop Filter
This adjustable pop filter is a must for recording speech or vocals. Its dual-layer nylon mesh effectively reduces plosives and sibilant sounds, resulting in clean, precise audio.

The ST-POP has a flexible arm to allow accurate positioning when clamped to any microphone stand. The cartridge can be easily removed by unscrewing the clamp at the bottom of the ring. It can then be cleaned with warm, soapy water and left to air dry, making maintenance a breeze.

The ST-POP comes with a replacement nylon cartridge.
